Smallgate includes the work of general market folk duo Jacob and Lily, consisting of Karla Adolphe and Caleb Friesen.
Jacob and Lily have enjoyed playing among the Canadian folk community and folk festivals as well as receiving a Canadian Folk Music Nomination Best New/Emerging Artist for their debut album The Cathedral.
